PĀNUI - NEWS UPDATE | 12.08.2029

NOTICE TO PATIENTS

Tēnā koutou katoa. Warm greetings to all our patients.

Ōrākei Health is playing our part in keeping everyone safe and slowing the spread of Covid-19.  We must remain vigilant until a vaccine is available. Important preventative actions such as staying home when one is sick, good hand hygiene and coughing or sneezing into your elbow are some easy ways for you and your whānau (family) to stay safe.

To ensure safety for all on the clinic premises during all Covid-19 Alert Levels (Auckland moves in Alert Level 3 from noon today until midnight, Friday, 14/8 ), we require patients (existing and new) to contact our friendly reception on 09 578 0956 as your first point of contact and before visiting the clinic for any reason.

From there you will be contacted by one of our Doctors for treatment and care. If the Doctor requires you to come into the clinic for an assessment, they will book this appointment directly with you while they have you on the phone. Only one consult fee will be charged if the Doctor triages you on the phone and then has you come in to the clinic for assessment.

All patients who visit the clinic will be asked questions regarding Covid-19 symptoms by our friendly reception staff. It is critical that you answer honestly about any flu-like or respiratory symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath). This will help to ensure the correct precautions are taken to keep you and our clinic staff safe.

If you have any concerns or need further assistance with any of the above details, please do not hesitate to give us a call at the clinic so we can answer your question.

We appreciate your cooperation, support and understanding during this time.

Ngā manaakitanga,
Kirimoana Willoughby, Practice Manager and the Ōrākei Health team.
